I am a Year 7 student at Edmund Hillary School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 10 and my teacher is Graeme. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first draft. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.
I found it really interesting what you posted and it made me think for a time. I'm glad you've shared what you thought and I paused when I so the quote. In my opinion I kind of agree with your quote, I think your name is as important as you think it is but regardless of you name it shouldn't change how people treat you.
What I found really cool was searching up what my name means and if I think that the meaning is cool. My name 'Daniel' means "God is judge" which I think is pretty cool because to me, it reminds me to be humble and not judge other people because my name doesn't mean "I am judge".
I wonder what your name mean? Does it mean something different in Kiribati? and Do you know if there is a story behind why you were named Nese?
It's cool that I get to use your name but I guess I don't know for sure how it is pronounce. I understand that it can be really frustrating when your name is mispronounced my last name is often mispronounced in assemblies or when people meet me for the first time and I have to correct them.
Levi is a pretty cool name to and I think it is a smart idea for famous people to have a different name so they can enjoy their privacy more easily. Any way, I hope are enjoying the SLJ activities and enjoy your holidays with family.
Great job on this task. I do agree though, it does not matter what your name is, even if you dislike it. Everybody has a special name with a meaning even more special.
Do you know what your name means? Mine means star, reminding me to always shine bright. Levi is a pretty good name choice. If you become an Author, you can come up with your own Pen name! A pen name is a different name you use to replace your real name that will only be used by fans when referring to you and will be seen when printed on the front covers on your books.
