I am a Year 7 student at Edmund Hillary School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 10 and my teacher is Graeme. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first draft. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.
I’m Daniel from the SLJ Blog commenting team. I’m looking forward to seeing all your amazing blog posts and I hope you’re enjoying your summer. I think I remember commenting on your blog last summer too.
You concept is a cool and unique one, combining two similar insects together to create a whole new one.
Did you know that a pray mantis is a type of grasshopper? I didn’t know till I quickly researched it now. So this is a good combination of insects.
Make sure to read the tasks carefully though, this task asks you to create your insect like the artist in the video did by building it out of things found in your backyard like twigs, leaves and flowers.
